Finish Sprayer Department:
Finishing Starting wage based on minimum 2 years of finish spraying experience in a fast paced production environment.
General Summary / Basic Function:
Active member of finishing operations.
Spray stain and/or topcoat finish or wood furniture.
May also perform other assignments in the department.
The above duties and responsibilities are considered essential to performance of this job.

Skills and Abilities Required:
1.
Physical ability required for continuous standing and walking, as well as the ability to hold light weights (spray gun) at arms length for extended periods.
Some lifting of light to moderate weights, along with the ability to bend, twist and turn is also required.
2.
The ability to work at a constant, predetermined rate of speed, to concentrate for extended periods of time, and to closely attend visually to the quality of application.
3.
The ability to perceive clarity of color and finish and to detect unwanted variations.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
1.
The ability to follow oral and written instructions is required although a high school level of knowledge is preferred.
2.
At least one year of finish spraying experience in a manufacturing environment and a thorough understanding of various production and quality standards required.
Will need to become adept at the techniques of application specific to the various materials and products.
Working Conditions 1.
Conditions on this job are relatively clean, quiet, and dust free as all spraying is done in the context of well exhausted spray booths.
2.
Air quality standards are monitored and meet regulatory standards, however, the odor of finishing materials can be unpleasant.
