16 an hour Zeeland Public Schools has an opening for Special Education Paraprofessional - Categorical Program - ASD at Zeeland West High School.
The Special Education Paraprofessional - Categorical Program will assist the special education teacher to ensure an effective and positive learning experience for students in the program.
Responsibilities:
Provide behavioral and academic assistance to students, under the direction of the special education teacher.
Provide prompting and redirection for engagement in academic tasks and other school activities.
Develop positive relationships with students and staff.
Effectively follow class management procedures, as well as individual behavior plans.
Assist the teacher in organizing and preparing classroom materials.
Assist with student hygiene needs, as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
CPI Certification or willingness to be trained on-site.
Schedule:
Student Calendar - Up to 7.
5 hours/day Compensation:
Level III $14.
