1K - $33K a year 21 hours ago 21 hours ago 21 hours ago The Auditorium Assistant will be partially responsible for the technical aspects of performances, rehearsals, and events.
You will work closely with the Auditorium Manager and other members of the auditorium staff to ensure that all productions and events run smoothly and are executed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate schedule with Auditorium Manager between district buildings.
Oversee the construction and installation of stage sets.
Provide excellent customer service to performers, event organizers, and other stakeholders.
Working alongside the Auditorium Manager to prepare and maintain the facility use schedule.
Determine and arrange for equipment needs of the Performing Arts Center.
Determine the staging and technical needs for proposed and scheduled events in the Performing Arts Center.
Assist in determining the level of technical staffing needed for scheduled events and arrange for technical assistance.
Assists technical staff in lighting, sound, and setup Maintain security and equipment, equipment identification, tagging, and inventory system for facility equipment and supplies.
Work with students interested in technical aspects of theater.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of the scene shop Maintain cleanliness of stage, backstage areas, and auditorium.
Completes other duties as assigned by Auditorium Manager.
Qualifications:
Preferred experience in technical theatre or coursework in this field.
Intermediate building skills.
Ability to work independently with direction.
A great work ethic with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours - days, evenings, weekends as determined by scheduled events.
Exhibits effective problem solving, human relations, interpersonal communication skills and bringing staff, students and community together to achieve a shared mission.
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Provide guidance and oversight on technical aspects of productions and/or events.
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to coordinate a multiplicity of simultaneous events.
