Disher Design & Development is currently partnering with our customer in Holland, Michigan in their search for a full time, direct hire Registered Project Architect in an Architectural and Engineering Firm. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in an established A + E Firm. Responsibilities include collaborating with the firms architects and engineers in all aspects of project design, construction documentation and field observation.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree/Master's degree in Architecture and be currently registered in Michigan.
Five or more years of experience required in an architectural firm.
The successful candidate will have a strong design sensitivity and thoroughness in drawing and project organization.
Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness required.
Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines required.
The outstanding candidate should have the ability to consult with external clients and have excellent communication skills.
Large project experience required, in the range of $5M to $500M.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, InDesign required and Revit preferred.
Understanding of 3D modeling software required.
LEED Accredited Professional is preferred.
This is a direct, full time, permanent position, and the salary will be commensurate with experience, including an excellent benefit package.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
