Our Talent Attraction team is currently partnering with our customer in West Michigan in their search for a full time, direct hire Experienced Structural Engineer to work in an Architectural
Engineering environment.
This is a great role working in a client-focused, general practice A+E firm with focus in the design of K-12 Education, Higher Education, Industrial Manufacturing, Food Processing and Health Care. This is an excellent opportunity for individual interested in pursuing a career working with a team of architects, interior designers and engineers to provide enhanced building design services. This role is great for candidates that desire an opportunity for advancement into a leadership position in the future.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus from an accredited university.
This role requires a minimum of 5-10
years of experience in analyzing, designing, planning, and researching structural components and structural systems to achieve design goals and ensuring the safety and comfort of users and occupants.
CAD experience required with 3D/Revit a plus.
Strong computer skills required.
Leadership experience highly desired.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects / deadlines simultaneously.
Large project experience required, in the range of $5M to $100M.
Experience with sustainable design, high performance design and/or UA Green Building Council LEED rating is preferred.
LEED Accredited Professional is preferred.
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING REGISTRATION is required.
Experience in client relations and business development preferred.
The outstanding candidate should have the ability to consult with customers on their worksite and have excellent communication skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to coordinate with all disciplines, and the ability to work well with internal and external customers are required.
This is a direct, full time, permanent position, and the salary will be commensurate with experience, including an excellent benefit package.
