General Purpose:
Initiates and implements a full spectrum of human resource services directly to assigned client groups. While acting in a lead capacity, provides consultation to individual managers, client groups, or employees in areas including: pay administration, talent management, performance management, leadership and employee development, talent acquisition, organizational change and employee relations.
Essential Functions: ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Acts as a consultant and business partner to client groups, managers, and employees by understanding their unique needs and business objectives and providing advice and counsel on human resource programs and practices in support of those objectives. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Evaluates and diagnoses human resource related issues that impact the effectiveness of the client group; identifies and implements creative solutions for specific organizational issues that affect the client group. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provides counsel and guidance to management on complex employee relations issues, independently conducts investigations and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable laws. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Partners closely with the rest of the HR team to support cross group initiatives and manages/leads special HR project initiatives. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Serves as mentor/coach to HR Consultants, HMI managers and employees. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Acts and thinks independently as a highly knowledgeable human resources professional that approaches management and employee issues as a fully accountable business partner. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Coordinates and delivers learning and development activities as required, building competence and workplace performance. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Minimum Requirements: ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or other closely related field, or at least 10 years of work experience. Master's degree preferred. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ 7 years progressive responsibility in a professional HR generalist role with at least two years in a leadership capacity and a proven track record of positive interaction and established credibility with senior level management. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Demonstrated expertise in HR communications, change and performance management, organizational design, talent development, talent acquisition and retention, compensation and employee / labor relations, and HR related statutory and regulatory environment. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze complex situations and related data to determine appropriate actions. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ability to act as a highly effective negotiator with strong persuasion abilities and customer service skills while exhibiting an approachable work style; working exceptionally well with and respecting individuals at all levels of the organization. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Must possess excellent diplomacy and judgment when handling routine as well as emotionally charged situations. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ability to manage complex projects successfully through application of strong managerial and business skills. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor others and support professional client groups. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation/communication software and tools currently being used in the HMI office environment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
