Continuous Improvement Manager

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible to identify, facilitate and implement process improvements throughout the organization and its affiliates.  Works with all stakeholders to drive a culture of business excellence through the design and implementation of major projects that result in financial benefit, operational efficiency and improved customer satisfaction. This role will work with all stakeholders to design, lead, and manage continuous improvement projects throughout the organization to accomplish measurable business process improvements.  This position is responsible for developing and training employees and facilitating the deployment of process improvements company wide. This position also manages the project aspects of successful implementation of process improvement initiatives and other IT-related projects as they relate to the organization.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:   Works with all stakeholders to identify high-priority areas for improvement in order to ensure continuous improvement efforts are aligned to and fully support strategic plan goals. Assess current improvement culture and apply appropriate, people focused, approach to ensure sustained success of improvements. Works hands-on with process stakeholders to complete the following: Document the "current state" process Evaluate the "current state" process for improvement Get approval where needed on the new, improved process Implement the new process Document the new process in writing Develop strong working relationships with co-workers and managers at all levels of the organization, as well as vendors and customers depending on the project. Communicate suggested process improvement changes to senior management, get approval of strategic plans as needed to support long-range/short range objectives, establish budgets and strategies, event timetables, policies, capital requirements, material and labor requirements. Work independently to complete projects as assigned. Select, develop, and administer Lean training programs across the organization and its affiliates. Develop, monitor, and conduct key performance indicators, internal and external performance benchmarking and return on investments for all projects and targeted performance improvements. Facilitate meetings with senior management to review and examine project status and progress. Serve as a change agent promoting the use of Lean Six Sigma methodology. Establishes cost targets, budgets, objectives, event timetables, policies, capital requirements, material and labor requirements and other key metrics to track and evaluate current and new projects. Responsible for the successful development of improvement processes and procedures and partners with process owners to architect quality systems to meet future business needs. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes. Ensures improvement methodologies and approaches are compliant with associated regulations/standards and that effectiveness metrics are being utilized. Facilitates and leads large cross-functional project initiatives for assigned areas of responsibility.   Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Applied experience with Lean and Six Sigma principles and methodologies, including Kaizen and implementation. Strong project management and analytical skills, experience and expertise, with the professionalism to meet committed project deadlines. Advance knowledge on industry standard Information Technology applications and software including knowledge of and ability to learn and master all company-owned software packages (iRely, LoadMaster, SquareRigger, MS Office, et al). Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
