Associate Manager Food Safety and Compliance

Responsible for the Zeeland plant Food Safety Systems and Regulatory Compliance, including Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP and the supporting Prerequisite Programs Provides critical evaluation of the Zeeland manufacturing facility to assure compliance with appropriate regulations, applicable Good Manufacturing Practices, and RB/MJN requirements Responsible for ensuring that Change Control projects are evaluated for food safety risk and that proper mitigation is in place and updates to the factory HACCP and Food Safety Programs are made Responsible for the assessing Prerequisite and other Food Safety System requirements for compliance and driving gap closure by ensuring that deficiencies are addressed as part of the on-going site master plan and Food Safety System Program improvements Ensure that appropriate verification and validation is in place for Critical Control Points and other HACCP identified food safety system controls Responsible for ensuring that appropriate Food Safety and Compliance related training is in place for the Zeeland site Provides support during inspections by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and other regulatory and compliance related inspections Represents QA on capital project teams for the review of food safety requirements and impact to HACCP or Prerequisite Ensures that food safety related investigations are completed and robust corrective action plans are identified and implemented Provides strategic support for the factory Environmental Monitoring Program and works with Quality Leadership to develop program strategies and manage day-to-day implementation and execution of the Facility Hygienic Zoning program Provides strategic support to the plant hygienists to drive continuous improvement to  facility sanitation systems All otherresponsibilities as assigned     QUALIFICATION Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering , Microbiology or  related degree A minimum of 5 years of food safety or quality systems leadership experience in a food, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environment Must have profound knowledge in food safety and in quality systems Food Safety Preventive Controls (PCQI) is desired Computer literate. Microbiological knowledge is preferred. EXPERIENCES Good people development skills and multi-cultural communication Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills are essential. Prioritizes business and personal responsibilities in order to meet desired outcomes of multiple tasks according to schedule, even when direction is not clear.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
